Reporting an Outage
Nobody likes being out of power and we at MEC don't like outages but face it, outages are a fact of life.
In an effort to minimize the duration of an outage, it is important that you follow these steps in an effort to provide the most information to our line crews when they are called out.
When your electricity goes off:
1) Check the fuses and breakers at the meter pole and at the service entrance in your home.
2) If your fuses and breakers are all good, call your neighbors to see if they have power;
3) If your neighbors are out of power as well, then call (701) 444-9288 in Watford City or toll-free, (800) 584-9239.
