Annual Meeting
Each year, MEC holds an annual meeting. The purpose of the annual meeting is to provide for the membership a forum to hear how the Cooperative is doing through reports; to ask questions; and to carry out any elections and other business that requires membership participation.
In addition to being a venue where members can visit and socialize with your neighbors, the annual meeting includes a complimentary meal and drawings for prizes and children's activities.
Historically, MEC has held its annual meeting on a weekend in October but, in an effort to provide more up-to-date information, the MEC Board of Directors made the decision to have the annual meeting on a weeknight in June.
Every MEC member should view attending the annual meeting as an obligation; after all, it is your company.
Your annual meeting for 2010 is scheduled for Tuesday, June 15.
